Tracking diagnostics
A silent install is hard to debug. Tracking diagnostics shows whether Metrivue has actually received events and, if requests were refused, why.
What works today
- The Installation Center shows your snippet and whether events have ever been received, with the first and last event times.
- Counts of refused requests over the last 7 days, with a reason for each: the page domain did not match, the website was paused, the request was malformed, or a privacy signal was honoured.
What it cannot see
Requests that never reach Metrivue cannot be counted, for example a blocked script, a wrong snippet address, or an ad blocker. Metrivue also does not yet crawl your pages to confirm the snippet is present on each one.
