Website analytics
See how many people view your site, which pages they read, and where they come from, using a small script that sets no cookies.
What works today
- Pageviews and daily visitors for the last 7, 30, or 90 days.
- Top pages, with views and visitors per page.
- Traffic sources grouped into estimated channels: Search, Social, Paid, Email, Campaign, Referral, and Direct.
- Custom events you record with one line of code.
- Goals: mark a custom event or a page as a conversion and see conversions, converting sessions, and a conversion rate. Goals also report on events recorded before the goal was created.
- Sessions (a visitor's activity until 30 minutes pass with no event), pages per session, and single-page sessions, measured from the date migration 011 was applied on your installation.
- Single-page-app navigation is tracked as pageviews.
What it does not do yet
- Bounce rate or time on page. (Sessions and pages per session are measured, but only from the date shown on the Analytics page.)
- Funnels or multi-step conversion paths.
- Country, device, or browser breakdowns.
- Exports or scheduled reports.
How the numbers are defined
Visitors are anonymous and counted per UTC day, then added across the range. Visitor identifiers rotate daily for privacy, so the same person on two days counts twice. Visits that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals are not recorded, and ad blockers can hide visits, so figures can under-count.
